What is a wall for? A window? To protect, to hide, to forbid? Two sides, sometimes transparent, sometimes closed, covered with words or drawings, to make horizontal what stands upright: who reads a book vertically?
Witnesses to the passing of time, they are the first proof that Man left his animal condition behind and conquered the climate: rain, wind, cold, heat... Then came the follies of grandeur and pride.
